Ukraine showed Sevastopol in its promo clip for Euro 2012

The visit card commercial of Ukraine dedicated to the championship Euro-2012 demonstrates central Primorskiy boulevard and Balaklava harbour of Sevastopol for 3 seconds altogether.

The 1 min 29 sec promo clip named “Switch on Ukraine” has been shot by Ukrainian “Shootgroup” production company in November 2010.

“We want that all Europeans see how beautiful our country is”, said the clip’s director Yulian ULYBIN.

According to “Shootgroup”, the promo clip will be broadcasted on Euronews and Eurosport channels since November, 15th.

Prior to this, the status of Sevastopol and Crimea has been constantly disputed in Ukraine and Russia.

In October 2010 Ukrainian TV journalist Mustapha Naiem wrote in his blog “Sevastopol is not Ukraine” after anchoring a live broadcast from Sevastopol.
